Dr Alan Channer

Dr Alan Channer is an Environment, Peacebuilding and Media Consultant. He has worked with the UN, United States Institute of Peace, Initiatives of Change and numerous other organizations in over 30 countries. He was a featured speaker at the Nobel Peace Prize Forum in 2015.

Alan produced the film The Imam and the Pastor, which was launched at UN Headquarters and won first prize at the Africa World Documentary Film Festival. Its sequel, An African Answer, was described by Kofi Annan as “a very important film”.

Alan is a Senior Fellow of the Global EverGreening Alliance, and a member of the Steering Committee of ‘Initiatives for Land, Lives and Peace’, Geneva.
