Preventive Diplomacy for Land Restoration and Conservancy of Nature

What we do
OikoDiplomatique provides advocacy and strategic accompaniment to faith communities, ecumenical bodies and civil society organizations across Africa. Our work strengthens their ability to engage effectively in peacebuilding, environmental stewardship and transformative dialogue in contexts of conflict and ecological crisis.
Why it matters
By equipping faith communities, ecumenical bodies, indigenous people and civil society organizations in Africa to engage in landscape restoration and conflict resolution, we strengthen their ability to renew their ecosystems and promote dignity for all African people.

Our 4 Core Pillars

Our approach is grounded in four interconnected pillars:
- Peacebuilding & Conflict Transformation
Supporting faith actors and civil society to advance dialogue, reconciliation, and sustainable peace in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. - Environmental Stewardship & Climate Justice
Promoting ecological responsibility, landscape restoration, and climate resilience through community engagement and policy advocacy. - Faith-Based & Intergenerational Dialogue
Convening faith leaders, youth, women, and communities to address global challenges through inclusive dialogue and shared values. - Indigenous Knowledge & Science
Integrating indigenous knowledge systems with modern scientific approaches to support community-led, evidence-informed solutions for peace and environmental sustainability.
Together, these pillars guide our advocacy and strategic accompaniment—supporting communities to respond to conflict, climate challenges, and social change with locally rooted, collaborative, and lasting solutions.
